Jeff Sanderson

Jeff Sanderson has over 30 years experience in residential land development and construction. He is the owner and President of Whitney Blair Inc., a residential construction and land development company, with offices located along the southeastern coast of North and South Carolina. With significant expertise in residential construction and land development as his foundation, Sanderson has partnered with leading architects across the US in the fields of southern vernacular and historical architectural design. He has also developed lasting alliances with leading national manufacturers and suppliers, forming strong corporate partnerships. As a result of these alliances in the arenas of construction design, material manufacturers and suppliers, Sanderson has successfully worked with prominent developers across multiple states to establish cohesive builder teams. The end results are builder teams that consistently set new standards in architectural design elements with quality and consistency of product. These combined elements establish the streetscape and define the sense of community for the development which ensures the developers’ community vision is realized.

Recognizing the need for cohesive management of builders and strict control of architecture and quality construction of homes in his communities, Sanderson founded Builder Team Solutions to provide full builder team management services to developers, and has since successfully acquired builder team management responsibilities for numerous communities located along the NC/SC coast.

 

Derek Jarrett

Derek Jarrett is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington’s Cameron School of Business with a degree in Business Management. After graduation, he attended a six month Commercial Finance Management Development Program while working for Commerce Bank in New Jersey.

After completing the Management Development Program, Derek was recruited by a prominent regional cabinet distributor to serve as an Account Manager in Wilmington, NC. It was there that he expanded his knowledge of the construction industry, spending a significant amount of time on construction sites servicing his accounts. In the beginning of 2006 Derek made his transition to Builder Team Solutions.

Derek oversees the day to day operations of Builder Team Solutions, which includes recruiting new business opportunities, managing current builder teams, and serving as a liaison between builders, developers, and corporate partners. He also serves as a standing member on all communities’ Architectural Review Boards and ensures all homes are in compliance with the Architectural Review Board Guidelines established for each community.
